About Us

Laughing Grizzly Fly Shop is owned and operated by Mike Kruise and Scott Bley. We grew up fishing local waters- the St. Vrain, the Big Thompson, the Cache La Poudre, and the lakes and streams of Rocky Mountain National Park. We and our staff are proud of our local heritage, and welcome both local residents and out-of-towners.

We offer instruction-oriented guide service in nearby Rocky Mountain National Park and other local waters. We also have extensive experience on some of the other major rivers of the West, like the Bighorn, the San Juan and the Grey Reef. We’d be happy to arrange a once-in-a-lifetime trip for you to one of these top destinations. Our staff have the expertise and in-depth product knowledge to help you make the most of your fishing experience.

We carry a complete line of quality gear with names you know and trust like Sage, R.L. Winston,and ; Simms waders, boots, vests and clothing; Fishpond bags and packs; Sage, Ross ; Rio and Scientific Anglers lines and leaders. We feature quality hooks and materials for the tyer and, of course, flies that catch fish.
