About Us

Flint Creek Outdoors is a fully stocked fly shop, coffee shop, and sister operation to Blackfoot River Outfitters, open 7 days a week 7:30-5. Located in Philipsburg for nearly 20 years, we stock everything you need to fly fish near and far. We offer products from Orvis, Sage, Simms, Redington, Rio, Fishpond, Montana Fly Company, and more. We have a comprehensive fly tying selection with a range of products from Hareline Dubbin, Wapsi, Whiting Farms, Firehole Outdoors, Renzetti, and more.

What we do

We spin up advice and flies; gear from Orvis, Sage, Simms, Fishpond, Montana Fly Company, and more; guided and hosted trips; rentals; and even espresso from our coffee shop, Jackalope Joe’s, located on the first floor.

Where we do it

Flint Creek Outdoors is located in picturesque Philipsburg, Montana, between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Shadowed by the Pintler Mountains, Philipsburg is a mere 15 minutes from world famous Rock Creek, the same from Georgetown Lake, 30 minutes from the Clark Fork, less than an hour from the fabled Big Hole River, and walking distance from our name sake Flint Creek. Dozens of high mountain lakes dot the surrounding mountains for your hike-in fishing pleasure. Up for a beautiful drive? Check out the Blackfoot, Missouri River, or Beaverhead River within just a couple hours.
