About Us
Glacier Excavating, Inc. (GEI) is an earth work company owned and operated out of Eureka, Montana. We are passionate about conservation and water quality and have been constructing stream restoration and wetland enhancement projects since 2004. In addition to teaming with local TU chapters and private individuals, GEI works with various federal, state, and local agencies to ensure our rivers and creeks are healthy and stable.
What we do
Our professional crew has extensive training in natural channel design and stream construction techniques and have completed many projects including creating fish habitat, stabilizing eroding stream banks, and constructing new channels as part of placer mine reclamation projects (Crooked River/Idaho, Upper Ninemile Creek/Montana).
