About Us

Seiyu IHT is veteran-owned fly-fishing equipment designer, and psychotherapy and training practice focused on alleviating the weight of complex trauma utilizing traditional services as well as those integrated with therapeutic fly-fishing. Check us out on Instagram: @seiyu_tenkara.

What we do

Seiyu IHT offers in-person trauma-focused psychotherapy intensives in Vermont, and virtually in many other US states through our program “Counseling Without Walls”. We provide professional training and consultation across the spectrum of complex trauma, and are the home of Therapeutic Fly-Fishing with EMDR (TF-EMDR). Through it’s program Seiyu Gear Exchange (www.seiyugear.com), the company also designs and sells fly-fishing equipment to aid in providing therapy scholarships to current and former first responders, military, and frontline medical professionals.
