With over 1,000 members, the Three Rivers Chapter is the largest chapter in Washington state. Our chapter’s reach covers a large urban area, ranging from Seattle to the Cascade range and the Green River to Snohomish County. Primarily, we work with a coalition of governmental and non-governmental organizations to restore a native population of Kokanee Salmon in Lake Sammamish. Chapter members spend countless hours supporting this effort through activities like counting Kokanee fry, habitat restoration, community outreach, organizing park cleanups and stream barrier assessments. Amongst our chapter activities are an annual 5 and 10k fun run, a Project Healing Waters fishout, invasive species removal programs and introducing youth to fly fishing. We are a group of conservation minded fishermen and fisherwomen who are dedicated to preserving cold water fisheries in our area and working to assure that fishing opportunities will exist for future generations!
