Fostering chapter alliances can positively impact a chapter in a variety of ways. Struggling chapters may benefit from collaborating with more robust chapters by immediately increasing the struggling chapter’s capacity and morale.
More robust chapters also gain from partnering with other chapters. For example, a large metropolitan chapter may not have access to river restoration projects like a nearby rural chapter might. Forging a partnership provides an opportunity for a rural chapter to take on larger scale projects due to the increased volunteer capacity while providing an opportunity to generate additional support through fundraisers and leveraged sponsorships for grants like Embrace A Stream, corporate sponsorships and other giving opportunities.
Chapter collaborations offer an opportunity to enrich your chapter efforts, uplift another chapter, build camaraderie, and have some fun while bringing the coldwater conservation mission to life.
