Chapter Meetings to Build Community
For the last 60 years, TU’s chapters have followed a membership meeting model that has served us well. That’s a part of our culture and community we don’t want to change, but it’s also a great place to start evolving our model to connect with more members and the community at large.
There’s an incredible sense of belonging and being part of something bigger than yourself for those who attend monthly meetings, and often the speakers and presentations on topics ranging from fishing to conservation and more attract people eager to learn and grow. There are many ways to develop and improve chapter meeting and your Volunteer Operations Staff is here to help you with case studies and examples from around the country.
