For nearly a decade, Trout Unlimited has been a leader in the fight to stop the proposed Pebble mine from ruining Bristol Bay. Anglers, fishing businesses, and outdoorsmen and women from across the country have come out time and time again to oppose the mine, each time making it clear that the fishing paradise that is Bristol Bay is no place for North America’s largest open-pit mine.
With each comment period, phone call to elected officials, and petitions signed, we have built a very strong case to tell decision makers that people from all walks of life and backgrounds are overwhelmingly opposed to this mine.

Read more about Trout Unlimited’s efforts to reach President Trump in 2020.
The President was elected by Americans to safeguard our best interests: our jobs, our people, and our economy. Please remind him that Pebble is an immediate threat to our collective best interest.
