Monday, May 28th, 2018 is Memorial Day, a day of remembrance when we honor the men and women of the American Military who gave their lives in service to our country. President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s words remind us that “Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.” Those who gave their lives to protect our nation and the freedoms we all enjoy epitomize the words of John 15:13 which say “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” So, please fly your flag, attend your local Memorial Day Parade, and at 3PM local time, pause for the National Moment of Remembrance and recall the brave men and women who died serving this country.
