Todd Moen makes some really beautiful fly fishing films, and the video below is no exception. But what I appreciate about Todd’s work is the emphasis he puts on the pursuit of fish—the actual ins and outs of chasing piscene prey.
The cinematography, the colors, then angles and the arial footage—all wonderful—don’t quite come together without a story. And Todd’s a good storyteller. Here, he not only shows us the beauty of the Skeena system, but, through the words and deeds of the people he features, he tells us how to catch migrating king salmon in one of the world’s more storied rivers.
Nicely done, Todd.
