The Greater Boston Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Neponset River Watershed Association have partnered with TU national, Costa and SweetWater to run a special “Kick Plastic Cleanup” here on the Neponset River.
We will meet at 1 p.m., parking along Riverside Ave in Milton, MA to clean trash out of the tidal area of the Neponset River. Volunteers should wear waders, mud boots or water shoes and bring gloves, sunscreen and bug spray. The cleanup will run until around 4 p.m. and will be followed by a post-cleanup happy hour at an area restaurant (TBD) where we will celebrate the work and enjoy a free glass of Kick Plastic Pilsner courtesy of SweetWater Brewing!
