2025 Western (Rockies) Regional Rendezvous
Join fellow TU members, supporters and volunteers from across the region on March 28-29, 2025. Partnering with the Wasatch Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo, this Rendezvous promises a blend of educational sessions, hands-on workshops, and ample networking opportunities with fellow fly-fishing conservationists. There will be plenty to do from interactive fly tying, to fishing clinics, to strategic planning for your chapter in the coming years. Attendees should plan to build in extra time to explore the beautiful fly-fishing destinations Utah has to offer.

What to Expect
- Thursday:
- Dive into on-water classes to enhance your skills and knowledge. Sign up at https://wasatchexpo.com/.
- Utah State Council Banquet: Purchase Tickets Here
- Friday:
- Hear updates on Utah’s waterways, including the Weber, Bear, and Colorado Rivers.
- Learn about key conservation victories like the Good Samaritan legislation.
- Celebrate unique programs like the Utah Cutthroat Slam and Trout in the Classroom.
- Explore inclusivity in angling and gain insights into chapter success.
- Wrap up the day with an exciting IF4 film tour!
- Saturday:
- Enjoy a full day at the Expo, featuring talks more speakers like the Utah State Bug Lab, TU’s Bristol Bay Staff from AK, and activities for kids led by our STREAM program staff.
- Saturday Evening: Join us for a fundraiser dinner with Trout Unlimited’s President & CEO, Chris Wood, to celebrate and support TU’s critical work. We will celebrate TU Partners with some awards and view a new film about a Wyoming collaboration!
- Sunday:
- Give back by joining us for a kid’s on-water learning event on a local trout pond or get out fishing on your own in the beautiful Utah Spring!
Show Your TU Pride
We’ll have new TU gear for sale at the rendezvous so you can represent in style. Pre-purchase your items on our ticketing website for pickup at the event. Plus, wear your most vintage TU shirts and hats on Saturday—dinner attendees will vote for a winner, who will receive a brand-new piece of TU gear!
Special Guests and Classes

Please note: You must purchase both tickets if you plan to attend the Expo and participate in TU’s portion of the weekend. We have a room block available at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sandy, UT, which is directly across the street from the expo.
This weekend is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow Trout Unlimited members, learn from conservation and angling experts, and contribute to protecting the places we love.
